It’s a pleasure to present this Nathaniel “Nathan” Wright W-18 light relic sunburst dreadnought to you. We have known Nathan for years and have never failed to be strongly impressed by his craftsmanship and wood choices, and of course, the sound and playability of his instruments.

Number 076 features a very nice North Carolina red Spruce top with forward shifted scalloped X bracing in the 1937 style, Honduran mahogany back and sides, ebony wood binding, ebony fingerboard/ bridge, one piece mahogany neck with dovetail neck joint, bone nut and long saddle, Gotoh open back tuners lightly aged by Nathan, a striking Brazilian headstock overlay, a vintage inspired neck carve, adjustable truss rod, 1 3/4 nut width, 2 5/16 string spacing at the saddle, lightly aged/relic nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and proudly made by hand in Tennessee!

Number 076 has a remarkable sound, with a strong bass response, and handles altered tuning’s such as drop D very well. This is a lightly built instrument, with wonderful volume and great mahogany cut, without being brash. if you have been longing for an 18-style instrument with vintage tone, without the price tag, this Wright is right for you.
